CNC Operator

$20.00 - $25.00 / DOE

6 : 00 AM - 2 : 30 PM / Monday-Friday

A pipeline maintenance company is seeking an CNC Operator to assist the CNC team in a hands-on learning role. The position involves loading parts into machines, learning machining operations and safety procedures, and supporting daily shop activities. This role provides experience with CNC machining while using shop equipment such as sit-down forklifts, small cranes, and power tools. CNC Operator Responsibilities :

  • Assist the CNC Machinist by loading parts into machines
  • Learn CNC machining operations and safety procedures
  • Perform in-process inspections to ensure quality standards
  • Assist with basic machine setup and maintenance
  • Provide general shop support as needed
  • Operate sit-down forklifts and small cranes to move materials and equipment
  • Use power tools safely to support machining and shop tasks

CNC Operator Requirements :

  • Must have 2 year of experience with CNC machining
  • Hands-on mechanical aptitude
  • Basic blueprint reading skills preferred
  • Ability to operate or learn to operate sit-down forklifts and small cranes
  • Comfortable using power tools safely
  • Ability to follow safety protocols in an industrial environment
  • Ability to pass a drug test and background check
