Must have experience working in a Skilled Nursing Facility as a Dietary Supervisor that has his/her DSS Certificate
99-BED SKILLED NURSING FACILITY seeking experienced, CERTIFIED Dietary Supervisor.
MUST HAVE AT LEAST 5+ YEARS EXPERIENCE AS A DIETARY SERVICE SUPERVISOR IN A NURSING HOME.
Must pass DOJ back ground check, must have Food Handler Card (current) and First Aid Card, Bilingual preferred.
Must have Serve Safe Certificate.
MUST HAVE SNF EXPERIENCE with strong knowledge of / ability to complete dietary portion of Minimum Data Set Assessments for all Residents.
Participates in inter-disciplinary team meetings. Responsible for initial, quarterly and interim dietary assessments and documentation.
Responsible for coordination of weekly weight-variance meetings.
Responsible for ordering food from vendors in a manner that is consistent with the current cycle menu; while managing food / labor costs within budget.
Responsible for maintaining dietary scheduling, performance and staffing sufficient to maintain a smooth dietary operation.
Responsible to ensure that staff maintain proper sanitation at all times.
The Dietary Supervisor must ensure compliance to County, State and Federal regulations to ensure provision of a safe and effective dietary program. Must ensure that food is prepared to satisfaction of Residents' therapeutic and individual preferences.
This individual must enjoy working in an environment with elderly adults challenged with Alzheimer's-Dementia and other geriatric psychiatric diagnosis.
