  • Oversee all building systems, infrastructure, and mechanical equipment to ensure reliability, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
  • Direct preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and protect asset value.
  • Manage departmental budgeting, scheduling, capital expenditures, forecasting, and P&L performance.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety standards and proactively address potential property hazards.
  • Partner with vendors, contractors, and regulatory agencies to maintain strong, compliant working relationships.
  • Oversee procurement and inventory control of tools, materials, and equipment.
  • Maintain a strong guest-service focus by resolving concerns professionally and efficiently.
  • Uphold company policies and represent the organization with professionalism at all times.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in a resort, hospitality, or commercial maintenance environment.
  • Hands-on experience overseeing maintenance and operations for food & beverage outlets, landscaping, pools, groundskeeping, and laundry facilities.
  • High School Diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a maintenance-related field preferred.
  • OSHA certification preferred.
  • Professional licenses or certifications in core trades (refrigeration, plumbing, electrical) preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license in the state of employment required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical specifications, and O&M manuals.
  • Skilled in the safe use of hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
