Human Resources Coordinator

Responsibilities Lighthouse Care Center of Augusta has been providing psychiatric services to the CSRA for more than 15 years. Located in Augusta, GA, our 84-bed facility provides a therapeutic setting for those seeking treatment for mental illness. Lighthouse Care Center offers unique and individualized programming for adolescents and adults that sets us apart from many other treatment facilities, and our tenured team includes seasoned medical staff.

The Human Resources (HR) Coordinator opportunity is a key member of the Lighthouse Personnel Team who will contribute to the administrative and recruitment activities and initiatives; ensuring compliance and employment laws are consistent with the mission, vision, and values of Universal Health Services and in accordance with government regulation, licensing, and accreditation requirements. The HR Coordinator is responsible for comprehensive full cycle recruitment and onboarding tasks based on organizational and regulatory standards.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Maintains personnel files of both active and termed employees.
  • Assist with screening applicants for interviews and hire.
  • Represents the facility at career fairs and community events.
  • Assists with front desk coverage in the facility.
  • Performs data entry and communicates effectively with interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications:

Position Requirements:

  • Associates degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred.
  • Prior experience in lieu of education accepted.
  • Ideal candidate will have superior communication skills and knowledge of all Human Resources functions.
  • Two or more years of Administrative or Medical Office experience required.
  • Must demonstrate sound capabilities, to include but not limited to, Employment and Recruitment, Compensation, Benefits, Performance Management, Employee Relations, EEOC, and other state/federal employment laws.
