Gresham Optical and Vision Clinic, located in Gresham, Oregon, is looking for a dedicated optometrist to join their expanding practice. This addition is needed to meet the increasing demand from patients and to provide more scheduling flexibility. If you're ready to elevate your career in a thriving environment and make a meaningful impact on patient care, this opportunity is perfect for you!
Why join us?
Gresham Optical and Vision Clinic, founded in 1988, is a trusted private practice dedicated to protecting and enhancing vision through personalized, compassionate care. With a mission to improve the lives of patients and the community, the clinic provides comprehensive eye care, specialty, and multifocal contact lens fittings, medical eye care for conditions such as glaucoma and dry eye, diabetic eye exams, urgent care, and a full-service optical boutique offering premium eyewear with personalized fittings. The practice integrates advanced diagnostic technology such as OCT, digital retinal imaging, visual fields, and corneal topography, with a modern EHR system to ensure efficient, patient-centered care. Known for its welcoming environment and loyal patient base, Gresham Optical continues to expand its services in specialty care and dry eye management while maintaining a strong focus on accessibility, schedule flexibility, and work-life balance for its team.
What you'll do :
As the newest member of the Gresham Optical and Vision Clinic team, you'll provide comprehensive eye exams, contact lens fittings (including specialty and multifocal lenses), and medical eye care, including glaucoma management, dry eye treatment, diabetic eye exams, and red eye / urgent visits. You'll take the time to educate patients on their eye health and treatment options, helping them feel informed and cared for at every step. Working alongside a skilled and friendly staff, you'll contribute to a smooth clinic flow while ensuring each patient receives attentive, personalized care. You'll also maintain accurate records by utilizing the modern EHR system, supporting efficient and seamless patient experiences. This part-time role offers 16-24 hours per week (2-3 days with flexible scheduling) with an expected patient volume of 15+ per day, giving you the opportunity to make a meaningful impact while enjoying a work-life balance.
Who you are :
