Needed in Fresno, CA. Seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to provide individual therapy, behavioral consultation, crisis support, & staff training within residential program. This position may be filled as a full-time employee or an independent consultant, depending on the candidate’s preference & qualifications. The ideal candidate brings clinical expertise in developmental disabilities, behavioral health, & complex trauma, combined with a genuine passion for working with individuals who have Prader-Willi Syndrome. The facility operates a compassionate, highly structured residential program exclusively serving adults with Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS). Multidisciplinary team is dedicated to maximizing independence, safety, & quality of life for residents through evidence-informed, person-centered care. Duties include: Providing individual therapy & counseling to residents, tailored to cognitive & emotional profiles common in PWS; Conducting psychosocial assessments & developing individualized treatment plans; Collaborating with interdisciplinary team (physicians, dietitians, behavior specialists, direct care staff) to ensure integrated, whole-person care; Offering behavioral consultation to staff regarding de-escalation, positive behavioral support, & crisis prevention; Facilitating family counseling sessions & psychoeducation for resident families as appropriate; Participating in resident care conferences, discharge planning, & coordination with outside providers; Maintaining accurate, timely clinical documentation in compliance with licensing & regulatory requirements; Providing training & support to residential staff on PWS-specific behavioral & emotional presentations; Supporting crisis intervention & risk assessment as needed; Contributing to program development & quality improvement initiatives. Required qualifications: Active CA licensure as LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker); Min. 2 yrs post-licensure clinical exp.; Exp. working with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities (IDD), autism spectrum disorder, or genetic syndromes; Strong knowledge of behavioral health interventions, trauma-informed care, & applied behavioral principles; Excellent written & verbal communication skills for documentation & team collaboration; Ability to work effectively within highly structured, interdisciplinary residential environment. Direct exp. with Prader-Willi Syndrome or other hypothalamic disorders preferred. Training in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) or Positive Behavior Support (PBS) frameworks preferred. Exp. in residential, group home, or 24-hour care settings preferred. Familiarity with California Title 22 residential facility regulations preferred. Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
