MUST HAVE:
SNOWFLAKE - STRONG HANDS-ON EXPERIENCE WITH SNOWFLAKE:
SQL DEVELOPMENT, WAREHOUSING CONCEPTS, AND WORKLOAD MANAGEMENT
COALESCE - EXPERIENCE BUILDING TRANSFORMATIONS IN COALESCE
GIT- VERSION CONTROL AND COLLABORATIVE DEVELOPMENT WORKFLOWS
GOOD TO HAVE:
EXPERIENCE WITH SNOWFLAKE ADVANCED FEATURES:
STREAMS/TASKS, DYNAMIC TABLES, SNOWPIPE, EXTERNAL TABLES, ZERO-COPY CLONING
FAMILIARITY WITH CLOUD ECOSYSTEMS (AZURE/AWS/GCP), OBJECT STORAGE, AND IAM PATTERNS.
EXPOSURE TO EVENT STREAMING (KAFKA/KINESIS/EVENT HUBS) AND CDC TOOLS.
DESIRED PROFILE:
VERY STRONG IN ADVANCED SQL: ADVANCED JOINS, WINDOW FUNCTIONS, CTES, PERFORMANCE CONSIDERATIONS
STRONG COMMUNICATION SKILLS AND ABILITY TO TRANSLATE BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS INTO DATA SOLUTIONS.
STRONG PROBLEM SOLVING SKILLS AND DATA ENGINEERING FUNDAMENTALS.
STRONG AUTOMATION MINDSET WITH A DRIVE TO ELIMINATE MANUAL WORK.
