Step into the heartbeat of our automation

When a conveyor hesitates or a sensor blinks red, you’re the calm in the storm. As our Industrial Automation Maintenance Specialist, you’ll keep automated material handling systems running at peak performance, respond to issues in real time, and strengthen reliability through smart preventive work. You’ll blend mechanical know‑how with electrical savvy (up to 480V) and a continuous-improvement mindset.

What you’ll tackle

  • Service motors, VFDs, sensors, gearboxes, bearings, and pneumatic components.
  • Troubleshoot automation across conveyors, sortation, ASRS, and packaging equipment.
  • Clear jams; resolve sensor faults; fix minor electrical and pneumatic failures.
  • Execute preventive maintenance and perform system calibrations to maximize uptime.
  • Read electrical schematics; conduct basic PLC/HMI diagnostics and PLC troubleshooting.
  • Document all work orders and PMs in our CMMS with clear, complete notes.
  • Spot recurring issues; support root cause analysis (RCA) and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with peers, vendors, and support staff; mentor junior technicians as needed.

What you bring

  • 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience in automation, conveyors, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Fluent in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, including 120/208/240/480V systems.
  • Working knowledge of pneumatics, conveyor systems, and basic PLC/controls.
  • Ability to interpret schematics and perform basic PLC/HMI diagnostics.
  • Comfort with CMMS for work tracking and PM scheduling.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills; able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
  • Proficiency in: equipment diagnostics & troubleshooting; mechanical systems & component repair; lockout/tagout (LOTO); equipment repair & maintenance; PLC troubleshooting.

Tools & technologies you’ll use

  • Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and HMIs
  • Variable Frequency Drives (VFD)
  • Conveyor systems and sortation technologies
  • CNC Automation Solutions
  • Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM)

Physical demands

  • Stand and walk for the majority of the shift.
  • Climb, balance, kneel, crouch, and crawl as needed to access equipment.
  • Reach, pull, push, and lift objects up to 50 pounds safely.
  • Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jack, box cutter, carts) with coordinated movements.

Schedule

Sunday–Wednesday; 5:30 PM to 4:00 AM
