We are in search of an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist, ideally with live tooling, sub spindle, and Okuma experience but are willing to train on specific machinery and controls as needed. This hiring need has been created in response to growth and should provide for a solid long-term opportunity.

Day Shift - CNC Lathe Machinist: Monday – Friday from 7:00am-3:30pm

Responsibility Summary – CNC Lathe Machinist:

• Setup CNC lathe machinery for new production runs; including inputting programming updates/changes from the machine.
• Operate machinery to produce finished parts.
• Check parts for quality assurance.
• Work in a safe and efficient manner with a high-level of quality.

Qualification Summary – CNC Lathe Machinist:

• High school diploma required; any secondary education in a relevant field is however preferred
• 3+ years of experience setting up and operating CNC lathes
• Ability to change offsets and machine components to print specifications
• High mechanical aptitude
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions
• Experience performing quality assurance checks using measurement tools (i.e. calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.)
• Preferred experience with live tooling and sub spindle machines
• Preferred experience operating Okuma CNC lathes
