Now Hiring: CNC Lathe/Milling Machinist

Pay Rate: $26.00 – $32.00 per hour (based on experience)

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe/Milling Machinist to operate, maintain, and produce high-quality parts using CNC equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong blueprint reading skills, attention to detail, and experience working in a precision manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain CNC lathe and milling machines
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions to ensure accurate production
• Perform precise measurements and ensure parts meet specifications
• Select appropriate tooling, machines, and settings for each job
• Plan and execute the proper sequence of machining operations
• Monitor production processes and adjust feeds, speeds, and settings as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Inspect finished parts to ensure quality and compliance with specifications

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC lathe and/or milling machines
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Basic knowledge of CNC programming is preferred
• Familiarity with Mazak Mazatrol controls is highly desirable
• Fabrication experience is a plus
• Welding experience or certifications are a plus
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CNC machine programming
• Knowledge of machining best practices and tooling
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
