Job Title: Welder/Fabricator/Shop Helper
Pay: $22 - $25 per hour
Hours: Monday-Friday, 6am-2:30pm
Start Date: ASAP

As a Welder/Fabricator/Shop Helper, you'll support daily production activities, ensure high-quality craftsmanship, and help maintain a safe, efficient workspace. You'll work closely with the shop team and foreman to meet project deadlines while maintaining company standards and safety procedures.

What You’ll Do
  • Coordinate with the shop foreman to plan daily production tasks and prioritize jobs effectively.
  • Prepare raw materials and cut parts accurately using CNC equipment and other fabrication tools.
  • Assemble components by welding or bolting, ensuring durable and high-quality results.
  • Clean, finish, and package completed units for shipment while meeting quality standards.
  • Operate vacuum molding equipment and fabricate plastic parts as needed.
  • Utilize forklifts to load and unload materials and finished products safely.
  • Keep detailed records of manufacturing and quality procedures by completing logs accurately.
  • Assist with additional production tasks and equipment maintenance as assigned.

What You’ll Bring
  • At least 1 year of MIG welding experience; TIG welding skills are a plus.
  • Experience with plastic vacuum molding or related plastic fabrication.
  • Forklift certification or experience preferred.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong organizational abilities, a sense of urgency, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical welding certification is advantageous.
