BAI, a defense contractor, is seeking a qualified Software Tools Developer for our expanding workforce supporting current and evolving Naval air mission planning, at Point Mugu Naval Base in Camarillo, CA. Salary

The typical annual salary range for this position is $115,000.00 USD to $125,000.00 USD. Salary will be based on current qualifications, directly related experience, geographic location, and possible contractual requirements which could fall outside of this range.

Responsibilities

• Develop and modify general computer applications software or specialized utility programs
• May develop and write computer programs to store, locate, and retrieve specific documents, data, and information
• Working at the customer's site with government personnel to ensure program success

Qualifications

• Between 3 and 10 years of experience performing the duties described in the responsibilities
• 3+ years’ experience using Visual Studio, ASP.NET projects, the C# coding language, Model View Controller (MVC) design features, Razor syntax, and the Bootstrap JavaScript framework
• 3+ years’ experience using Microsoft SQL and data queries or Transact (Microsoft) SQL
• 3+ years’ experience using Microsoft Excel and Access; importing, transforming, exporting
• 3+ years’ experience using Qlik Sense – creating visualizations incorporating dimensions and measures, utilizing expressions, and using the data load editor to import data from sources such as Excel, Access, and SQL Server
• Familiarity with SharePoint elevated functions – adjusting user privileges, modifying site pages, and creating lists
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills—verbal, non-verbal, written, and listening—for staff, customer, and organizational level communications, both formal and informal.
• Ability to work in teams or independently, self-starter
• 3+ years’ experience using Microsoft Office suite programs
• 3+ years’ experience with configuring Atlassian tools: Jira, Confluence

Desired Software Experience:

• Familiarity with HTML and older ASP pages
• Familiarity with Dataverse for Teams
• Familiarity with Form or Canvas App in Power Apps
• Familiarity using a REST API to access third party web services
• Familiarity with Flank Speed Teams
• Familiarity with SharePoint Online
• Familiarity with Planner or Tasks workflows
• Familiarity with Flows in Power Automate
• Familiarity with Form or Canvas App in Power Apps

Education:

BS or BA degree in a Computer or Information Science field or a relevant technical discipline

ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: An additional 6 years of relevant work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree, or 4 additional years of work experience with a relevant Associate’s Degree

Clearance:
Condition of employment - must have a DoD Secret Security Clearance

Citizenship:
