About the Role:

As the Marketing Specialist, you will report to the Director of Marketing and Communications as you create and implement marketing strategies and gain broad exposure in the agricultural market. You’ll work on diverse projects from customer education events to national tradeshows, and manage a variety of advertising platforms, including print, radio, digital and billboards. As part of a small team, your contributions will have a significant impact, allowing you to take on a larger role in our marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Brand Awareness: Develop and execute marketing strategies to increase company and product awareness.
  • Marketing Campaigns: Plan and implement marketing campaigns and promotional programs to boost sales.
  • Event Management: Organize and manage tradeshows and other events, ensuring all leads are qualified and followed up.
  • Content Creation: Write, proofread and edit content for various platforms.
  • Budget Management: Manage marketing budgets and ensure all projects stay within financial limits.
  • Vendor Coordination: Work with external agencies and vendors to enhance marketing efforts.
  • Market Research: Conduct research to stay informed about market trends and competitors.

Qualifications

What is needed for success:

  • 5-plus years in marketing; agricultural experience is a plus.
  • Skilled in writing and editing content, with an attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously to support product development and marketing plan execution on time and within budget, with strict adherence to deadlines.
  • Willing to go above and beyond assigned work.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and prioritize effectively.
  • You are passionate about marketing, curious, highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Strong communication, proficiency in Microsoft Office, basic graphic design (Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator) and excellent project management.
  • Detail-oriented, deadline-driven and willing to travel (up to 20%).
