Sierra Space Careers

At Sierra Space, we build the missions and systems that keep our world secure in the domain above Earth.

Sierra Space team members share a spirit of innovation and collaboration and a belief that we can deliver on the boldest missions in space today. Together with our customers, we aim to safeguard our nation, sustain human presence in space, and secure the freedom of operations in low Earth orbit and beyond.

Our success is measured by the trust of those who rely on what we build and deliver, and our technologies keep the United States and its allies mission-ready throughout space.

We are mission-driven, and together, we are an extraordinary team.

About the Role

The HRIS Analyst II is responsible for the administration and configuration of Human Resources Information System (HRIS), with a primary focus on Workday Learning and additional support across other HRIS workstreams as needed. This role also supports HRIS ticket resolution and standard reporting needs, managing data integrity, and providing in-depth support for HRIS-related issues. The HRIS Analyst II partners closely with HR, L&D, and IT teams to ensure the effective use of HRIS systems, while upholding HR processes, policies, and data privacy regulations.

This role involves administering and configuring Workday Learning to meet organizational learning and development needs and ensure optimal platform performance. It includes managing data integrity through advanced data management, data validation, and regular audits, as well as generating HR reports. The analyst triages and resolves HRIS and Workday Learning support tickets, troubleshoots issues, escalates as needed, and documents resolutions for future reference. The role requires troubleshooting HRIS issues and proposing effective solutions to maintain system reliability and efficiency. Additionally, this position provides training and support to HR users on HRIS functionalities and best practices, develops and maintains HRIS documentation such as user guides and standard operating procedures, and analyzes HR data to identify trends and offer insights to HR stakeholders. Participation in Workday releases is also a key responsibility, as well as supporting the development and execution of HRIS strategies to enhance HR processes and workflows.
