  • Program and field online surveys in Qualtrics
  • Conduct phone interviews with energy efficiency program staff, utility customers, and other market actors
  • Analyze survey, interview, and utility program data to identify trends, summarize key findings, and describe the relationship of program activities to program results
  • Assist with developing client PowerPoint presentations, memos, and reports
  • Help create clear, high-impact figures and visuals to accompany presentations and reports
  • Provide administrative assistance to project managers through budget tracking and project planning
  • Communicate professionally through conferencing/telephone and email with colleagues and clients in varying time zones

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in social sciences, environmental studies, business, or a related field
  • 0-2 years of work experience in analytical or research roles
  • Exceptional critical thinking and research/data examination skills
  • Exemplary self-management skills including the ability to: manage time efficiently, organize complex information, prioritize tasks across multiple projects/clients, initiate tasks independently, and seek advice when appropriate
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and attention to detail
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Experience conducting social science research, including interviews, surveys, focus groups, and/or literature reviews
  • Experience writing research reports
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Some domestic travel may be required

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with the energy industry, renewable energy, electrification, or sustainability
  • Knowledge of statistics; experience running and interpreting statistical analyses
  • Experience using Qualtrics or other survey software
  • Experience using analytical applications such as R or Python

Additional Information:
