Job description
Summary/Objective Act as the liaison between the business unit Teams and the Information Technology Team to improve operational and system efficiencies. Provide leadership on enterprise projects and project assistance to business unit Team leads to help them manage and grow their project management experience. Project lead on high priority enterprise projects. Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. 1. Product Owner of Project Management System, including facilitating training with Solutions Teams. 2. Assist project lead on enterprise level projects in Project Management duties, including acting as Project Manager for various First Credit Union projects, as assigned by the SVP of Information Technology or Chief Innovation Officer. 3. Coordinate contact on new or complex issues with vendors, IT solutions team and Credit Union staff related to new or ongoing projects. 4. Take a leadership role in developing, updating and executing disaster recovery procedures and work instructions, and collecting and documenting test results. 5. Take a leadership role in the development and revision of procedures for Information Technology Department. 6. Helps to support system enhancements, promotes system automation, and increases systems processing efficiencies via "Third Party" software systems. 7. Helps to support special projects as assigned by the Information Technology Manager or SVP of Information Technology. 8. Coordinate deployment, management, and maintenance of various First Credit Union IT communications. i.e., Vendor Partner communications, System Down Notifications. 9. Provide prompt, help desk technical support to staff by phone, email, chat, in person and using other communication methods. 10. Supports Software Development staff and SVP of Information Technology with various tasks as necessary. 11. Understand and follow Credit Union policies and procedures. 12. Ability to handle confidential/sensitive information in a professional manner. 13. Participate in IT staff meetings and attend other meetings, seminars or training. 14. Comply with the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and complete all annual required training by assigned due dates. Competencies Superb customer service orientation. Strong project management skills. Honesty and integrity. Teamwork. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Supervisory Responsibility This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Work Environment . This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. Physical presence in an office setting is required. This position may be remote eligible with prior approval from executive management. Employee must acknowledge FCU Remote Teleworker guidelines and adhere to other terms and conditions which are subject to change at management discretion. Terms and/or conditions can be modified/terminated at any time with or without prior notice. Physical Demands This position requires manual dexterity, the ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. This position requires bending, stooping or standing as necessary. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work Ability to work flexible schedule Monday through Friday. Travel Periodic travel to other FCU locations may be required. Required Education and Experience A minimum of six years of experience and/or education. Relevant experience on a year for year basis can be substituted for education. A related technical trade degree or Bachelor of Science degree is preferred. Proficiency with project management tools/software, such as Microsoft Planner Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and project management tools. Technical phone support experience. Preferred Education and Experience A project related accreditation such as PMP, SCRUM Certification Previous experience with a credit union highly desirable. Additional Eligibility Qualifications Multi-lingual capabilities to include Spanish are a plus.
