Wire Assembler

Shift : 3 : 00pm-11 : 30pm (second shift)

Pay : $18.70 / hr to start

Location : Northside, Jacksonville FL (32226)

Join our team in the manufacturing and assembly of industrial power systems. As a Wire Assembler you will be responsible for wiring power systems and assembling electrical components. You will need to read schematics and engineering drawings for assembly and utilize hand and power tools such as power drills, wire crimpers, wire strippers, screwdrivers, hammers, and tape measures. This role requires standing for the entire shift and may involve working on ladders to assemble units up to 8 feet in height.

Essential Skills

Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, process sheets, and schematic drawings.

Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.

Experience in wiring electrical components.

Ability to read a tape measure.

Must have a high school diploma or GED.

Experience in manufacturing is a plus.

Construction, handyman work, HVAC, automotive, or similar fields is beneficial.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.

Work Environment

Work in a large, open bay production facility with multiple workstations and bays. The production floor is not climate-controlled, but industrial-sized ceiling fans keep the air moving. Safety shoes, safety glasses, and ear plugs may be required. The training will be from6 : 00 am to 4 : 30 pm (Monday to Friday) and 6 : 00 am to 12 : 30 pm on Saturdays. Saturday availability is mandatory.

You will have to be open to moving to 3 : 00pm - 11 : 30pm once trained.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00 / hr.
