Shift: 7am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday

Job Description

The Assembler builds and tests electrical enclosures of various sizes, ensuring they meet manufacturing and packaging specifications before shipment. This role combines hands-on mechanical assembly, basic electrical work, and data testing in a fast-paced, collaborative manufacturing environment. The position requires strong attention to detail, accurate documentation of test results and shipments, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks safely and efficiently.

  • Test completed enclosures to ensure they meet all required manufacturing certifications and quality standards.
  • Conduct data testing on enclosures and accurately record all test results.
  • Document all outgoing shipments, including test outcomes and relevant product information.
  • Perform all boxing, packaging, and prepping of outgoing shipments to meet packaging specifications.
  • Examine and inspect enclosures and hardware to verify that packaging and quality requirements are met before shipment.
  • Use basic hand tools and power tools, such as drills, torque wrenches, and screwdrivers, to complete final assembly tasks.
  • Work effectively as part of a small team, collaborating closely with one other team member to meet production goals.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail while working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and procedures while lifting, moving, and handling enclosures and components.

Essential Skills

  • Ability to use basic hand tools and power tools, including drills, torque wrenches, and screwdrivers, safely and effectively.
  • Basic computer skills to support data testing, documentation, and shipment recording.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to perform detailed, accurate work in a fast-paced setting.
  • Mechanical aptitude and the ability to understand how components fit and function together.
  • Ability to conduct data testing and accurately document test results.
  • Demonstrated reliability and consistent attendance.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a small team.
  • Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally assist with larger items up to 100 pounds using lift assists and team lifts.
  • Ability to stand at a workstation for extended periods and perform bending, twisting, and lifting throughout the shift.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Familiarity with electrical enclosures or basic electrical components.
  • Comfort working with packaging and shipping processes, including boxing and prepping outgoing orders.
  • Strong organizational skills for managing documentation and shipment records.

Why Work Here?

You can expect a stable, production-focused setting where safety, precision, and continuous workflow are central to daily operations.
