Job Title: Final Assembler
Pay: $22-24/hr, depending on experience
Shift: 7am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday
Job Description
The Assembler builds and tests electrical enclosures of various sizes, ensuring they meet manufacturing and packaging specifications before shipment. This role combines hands-on mechanical assembly, basic electrical work, and data testing in a fast-paced, collaborative manufacturing environment. The position requires strong attention to detail, accurate documentation of test results and shipments, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Assemble pre-assembled backplates into electrical enclosures of varying sizes according to established procedures and specifications.
- Test completed enclosures to ensure they meet all required manufacturing certifications and quality standards.
- Conduct data testing on enclosures and accurately record all test results.
- Document all outgoing shipments, including test outcomes and relevant product information.
- Perform all boxing, packaging, and prepping of outgoing shipments to meet packaging specifications.
- Examine and inspect enclosures and hardware to verify that packaging and quality requirements are met before shipment.
- Use basic hand tools and power tools, such as drills, torque wrenches, and screwdrivers, to complete final assembly tasks.
- Work effectively as part of a small team, collaborating closely with one other team member to meet production goals.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail while working in a fast-paced environment.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures while lifting, moving, and handling enclosures and components.
Essential Skills
- Proven experience with mechanical assembly in a manufacturing or similar hands-on environment.
- Ability to use basic hand tools and power tools, including drills, torque wrenches, and screwdrivers, safely and effectively.
- Basic computer skills to support data testing, documentation, and shipment recording.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform detailed, accurate work in a fast-paced setting.
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to understand how components fit and function together.
- Ability to conduct data testing and accurately document test results.
- Demonstrated reliability and consistent attendance.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a small team.
- Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally assist with larger items up to 100 pounds using lift assists and team lifts.
- Ability to stand at a workstation for extended periods and perform bending, twisting, and lifting throughout the shift.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Familiarity with electrical enclosures or basic electrical components.
- Comfort working with packaging and shipping processes, including boxing and prepping outgoing orders.
- Strong organizational skills for managing documentation and shipment records.

The role is physically active and requires regular bending, twisting, and lifting up to 50 pounds, with lift assists and team lifts available for heavier enclosures that can reach up to 100 pounds. You will work with mechanical and electrical components, hand tools, and power tools in a production setting that emphasizes safety, accuracy, and steady output.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
