Prototype Assembler (Medical Device)
Location: Longmont, CO
Pay: $26–30/hour (based on experience)
Shift: Monday to Friday, 7am to 3:30pm
Position Overview
We are seeking a high-level Assembler to support the build and development of complex electro‑mechanical assemblies in a regulated manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for an experienced assembler who thrives in low‑volume, high‑complexity builds and enjoys collaborating closely with engineering and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble complex electro‑mechanical prototypes and subassemblies using detailed work instructions, engineering drawings, and blueprints
- Work closely with engineers and technicians to support design iterations, troubleshooting, and build improvements
- Perform rework, modifications, and adjustments on prototype builds as designs evolve
- Accurately complete build records and technical documentation in accordance with quality standards
- Maintain compliance within a cleanroom environment, following gowning, contamination control, and safety procedures
- Follow established quality systems and procedures; support continuous improvement efforts
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of high-level assembly experience, preferably in prototype or R&D environments (but not required)
- Strong electro‑mechanical assembly skills (mechanical + electrical components)
- Experience working in regulated industries such as medical device or aerospace (preferred, but open to others)
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
- Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment
- Proven experience collaborating with engineering and technical teams
- Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail
Preferred / Plus Qualifications
- GMP experience (highly preferred)
- Experience with prototype, R&D, or first‑article builds
- Experience in medical device, aerospace, or other ISO/FDA‑regulated environments

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00/hr.
