Job Title: Occupational Therapist Home Health Profession: Occupational Therapist Specialty: Occupational Therapist Home Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 08:00 AM - 04:30 PM Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: 1 year License: Registered with the Board of Registration in Massachusetts Certifications: Certified home care Occupational Therapist Must-Have: - Two years of experience in acute care, rehabilitation, or homecare as an Occupational Therapist - Ability to work with various computer software - Knowledge of hand-held patient care computer devices preferred - Strong customer service skills and ability to work with diverse populations - Excellent verbal, written, and electronic communication skills - Ability to prioritize work and adapt to changing situations - Travel required within the designated geographic area Description: Provide occupational therapy services to patients in their place of residence who have impairments, cognitive and/or physical conditions resulting from injury, disease, disability, or other causes. Patients may range in age from birth to over 100 years. Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, and other allied health professionals to identify patient needs and coordinate services to meet those needs. Manage technical, environmental, and financial resources effectively.
