We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join our team in our Baltimore, MD office. The Civil/Land Development Department at WRA provides master planning, investigation, design, permitting/approval and construction phase engineering services for a large variety of site development and improvement projects, including campus/facility settings, planned communities, urban revitalization, and parks and public spaces. If you have a passion for engineering and a desire to work on a wide range of exciting land development projects, we want to hear from you. Responsibilities Support and lead the planning, design, and development of site and land development projects. Prepare engineering plans, reports, specifications, and permit applications. Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, and project team members. Assist with construction-phase services, including reviews, site visits, and project support. Collaborate with engineers, planners, surveyors, and other design professionals to deliver successful projects. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an ABET-accredited program. 11-15 years of relevant experience in civil/site land development engineering. Experience with the planning, design, permitting, and construction support of residential, commercial, institutional, or industrial development projects. Experience working on projects within the Mid-Atlantic region preferred. Stormwater Management (SWM) and Erosion & Sediment Control (ESC) design and permitting experience Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, AutoCAD, or MicroStation. Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative design team. Professional Engineer (PE) license, or ability to obtain licensure within six months of hire. U.S. citizenship required.
