Job description

Senior Manager, Program Management

At Protegrity, we lead innovation by using AI and quantum-resistant cryptography to transform data protection across cloud-native, hybrid, on-premises, and open source environments. We leverage advanced cryptographic methods such as tokenization, format-preserving encryption, and quantum-resilient techniques to protect sensitive data. As a global leader in data security, our mission is to ensure that data isn't just valuable but also usable, trusted, and safe.

Protegrity offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of innovation and collaboration, with the ability to make a meaningful impact on the industry while working alongside some of the brightest minds. Together, we are redefining how the world safeguards data, enabling organizations to thrive in a GenAI era where data is the ultimate currency. If you're ready to shape the future of data security, Protegrity is the place for you.

The Senior Manager, Program Management leads the delivery of strategic initiatives across Protegrity's product and platform portfolio, ensuring predictable execution and alignment with business objectives.

This role partners closely with Product, Engineering, Security, and Executive Leadership to drive cross-functional programs, improve delivery maturity, and provide visibility into portfolio performance.

The position plays a critical role in scaling program management practices while enabling innovation across cloud, data security, and AI data security solutions.

What You'll Do

  • Drive execution of strategic product, platform, and business initiatives, ensuring alignment between roadmap priorities and delivery outcomes.
  • Partner with Product Management, Engineering, Security, and Operations teams to coordinate cross-functional planning, execution, and release activities.
  • Manage portfolio-level risks, dependencies, resource constraints, and trade-offs to support predictable and high-quality delivery.
  • Provide executive leadership with clear visibility into portfolio health, delivery performance, key metrics, and strategic recommendations.
  • Lead governance and delivery processes for AI, GenAI, and intelligent automation initiatives, ensuring operational readiness and measurable business impact.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives that enhance delivery predictability, operational excellence, and program management maturity.
  • Coach, develop, and lead a team of Program Managers while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.

What You'll Need

  • 10+ years of program or project management experience within enterprise software, SaaS, cybersecurity, or technology organizations.
  • 5+ years of people leadership experience managing Program Managers or related delivery professionals.
  • Experience leading complex, cross-functional programs across Product Management, Engineering, Security, and Operations teams.
  • Proven success building, scaling, or transforming Program Management or PMO organizations.
  • Strong understanding of Agentic AI-driven SDLC, DevOps, and program management processes, with experience establishing governance, workflows, and accountability models that integrate human teams, intelligent agents, and automation across planning, execution, release management, and continuous improvement.
  • Experience managing portfolio governance, risk management, capacity planning, and executive stakeholder communications.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills with the ability to influence decisions across all levels of the organization.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with data security, encryption, tokenization, key management, or compliance-focused technologies.
  • Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform environments.
  • Knowledge of AI, GenAI, Agentic AI, and governance frameworks supporting responsible AI adoption.
  • PMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe, CSM, or similar program management certifications.

Should you accept this position, you will be required to consent to and successfully complete a background investigation. This may include, subject to local laws, verification of extended education and additional criminal and civil checks.

We offer a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits with generous vacation and holiday time off. All employees are also provided access to ongoing learning & development.

Ensuring a diverse and inclusive workplace is our priority. We are committed to an environment of acceptance where you are free to bring your full self to work. All qualified applicants and current employees will not be discriminated against on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, national origin, disability or veteran status.
