How You Will Make a Difference

As a Controls Design Engineer at ATC Automation, your daily responsibilities will revolve around creating and implementing innovative automation solutions. You will design control systems, develop software, and ensure the integration of automation technologies in various projects. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will analyze project requirements and provide technical guidance to ensure successful execution. Daily tasks may include troubleshooting control systems, conducting system tests, and documenting design processes.

Would you be a great Controls Design Engineer?

To excel as a Controls Design Engineer at ATC Automation, you will need a robust skill set that combines technical expertise with innovative problem-solving. Proficiency in PLC programming and HMI design is essential for creating effective automation systems. Experience with Allen Bradley products will be highly beneficial, enabling you to implement advanced automation solutions efficiently. An Electrical Engineering degree is required, providing the foundational knowledge necessary for understanding complex control systems. Additionally, strong analytical skills and attention to detail will help you troubleshoot issues effectively.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Lift and move objects weighing:

  • Ability to bend, push, pull, and reach overhead.
