CNC Programmer

📍 Location : 40 Chestnut Avenue, Westmont, IL 60559

🕒 Work Hours : 7 : 00 AM to 3 : 30 PM, Monday through Friday

💲 Pay Range : $27 - $37 per hour

Dixon Brass , a proud division of The Dixon Group is looking for a detailed-oriented and motivated CNC (Computer Numerical Controlled) Programmer to join our talented team in Westmont, IL! This is a crucial role where you'll be responsible for setting up and operating CNC lathes to manufacture high quality precision metal components and inspect product to drawing specifications.

🚚 What You'll Do :

• Own the Process : You'll be in charge of setting up, programming, and operating CNC (Computer Numerical Controlled) lathes from start to finish.
• Be a Quality Champion : Act as our first line of defense for quality. You'll use calipers, micrometers, and blueprints to inspect products meticulously and ensure they meet our exact specifications.
• Multi-task & Problem-Solve : Showcase your skills by efficiently running more than one machine at a time. You'll also learn to recognize and troubleshoot machining issues, making adjustments as needed.
• Learn & Grow : Get to know our full line of Dixon products and embrace opportunities to learn new machines and techniques.
• Be a Great Teammate : Work safely and collaboratively, participate in team training, and contribute to daily preventative maintenance to keep our shop running smoothly.
