Ware Junior Senior High School is seeking a successful candidate to teach our Computer Science courses. Strong ability to multitask is necessary. The candidate must be comfortable instructing lower level coursework as well as challenging students with more advance principles in the Mobile Computer Science Principles course. - Responsibilities include daily instruction and assessment, maintaining a safe and rigorous classroom environment, and communicate effectively with colleagues, families and administrators. Candidate should have a certification in Digital Literacy / Computer Science and possess the following skill sets : ~Strong problem solving skills ~Experience with coding in but not limited to Scratch by MIT, App Inventor, HTML and Python. Ability to write in JavaScript and Java a plus ~Must have strong skills in Microsoft 365 including proficiency in Word, Excel and Access ~Strong communication skills ~Strong classroom management and safety practices ~Ability to engage students from variety of backgrounds as active learners ~Team player COMPENSATION $54,373.00 - $93,870, commensurate with education and experience
