Candidates should demonstrate (1) a mastery of their specific discipline; (2) a deep commitment to the college mission of fostering student success, achievement and persistence; (3) technology competencies as well as teaching/counseling skills and strategies that facilitate 21st century literacies; (4) the use of resources that prepare students for productive lives; (5) experience using various educational technological mediums.
Minimum Education:
•A Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, Computer Education/Technology, Engineering, or a closely related discipline with related computer coursework AND any required industry certifications OR A Master’s Degree and 18 graduate credit hours in a Computer discipline with related computer coursework AND related IT Certifications
Minimum Experience/Training:
• Prior college teaching experience is preferred.
• The successful candidate must have a high level of computer literacy and a commitment to teaching.
• All schedules require office hours and some may require evening and/or weekend hours.
