The FMS Operations Analyst plays a critical role within the Fee Management Team, supporting the accurate and timely processing of included fees to advisors and end clients across multiple affiliation models. This role supports both the ongoing build out of the Fee Management System (FMS) and its daily operational execution, with a focus on straight through processing, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement.

Reporting directly to the VP of Operations leading FMS, this role operates as a key deputy, providing coverage for operational responsibilities as needed and contributing directly to the programs design and the multi-year operational road map.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a deep understanding of FMS integration with LPL systems and processes to serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for FMS
  • Support ownership of the FMS Project Plan and RAID log items
  • Assist with the creation of procedures, training, and content to support the FMS program to Advisors and internal partners
  • Perform discovery work to help evaluate work from the Pricing Committee and provide executive decision support and key program design
  • Research, investigate, and resolve complex and escalated FMS inquiries
  • Coordinate workflow to support scheduled charging events
  • Support the daily runs that feed into secondary systems
  • Responsible to support the Reconciliation and Accrual of the FMS system
  • Partner with stakeholders to mitigate risk and prevent recurring issues
  • Support and lead department and firm-wide projects
  • Identify opportunities and present findings with insights with leadership
  • Partner in the development and execution of change management activities for frontline business teams
  • Provide training and procedural guidance
  • Participate in discovery for future enhancements

What are we looking for?

The ideal candidate will have a client-first customer service oriented mind-set from a financial background, with strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and excellent verbal and written abilities. Candidate will be able to contribute positively to a team-focused environment, driving both growth and innovation.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in financial services, banking, accounting, or operations
  • Experience supporting or operating a complex processes and/or system
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow defined procedures
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams

Pay Range: $24.61-$41.00/hour Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
