Operations Analyst (Management Analyst II)

DT Professionals is seeking an Operations Analyst (Management Analyst II) to join our team in Port Hueneme, CA. This role provides analytical and operational support to branch leadership by tracking workflows, generating insights, and ensuring the smooth execution of day-to-day activities. It also drives process consistency and efficiency through documentation, coordination, and continuous improvement initiatives across the team. Responsibilities:

• Provide direct analytical and administrative support to the Branch Manager and Team Leads.
• Track, process, and monitor engineering work items to ensure timely completion.
• Analyze workflow data and generate reports, dashboards, and briefings to support decision-making.
• Develop, maintain, and standardize operational documentation, including SOPs, desk guides, and training materials.
• Support program operations by assisting with administrative preparation of financial documentation (e.g., Work Breakdown Structures - WBS).
• Coordinate onboarding, training, and development activities for incoming personnel.
• Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and consistency across the branch.
• Ensure accuracy, organization, and accessibility of critical operational records and documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• Active Secret Clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 7 years of experience providing analytical and/or administrative support in a professional environment.
• Strong data analysis and reporting skills, including proficiency in Excel or similar tools.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting engineering or technical teams.
• Familiarity with workflow tracking tools or project management systems.
• Experience developing SOPs, desk guides, or training documentation.
• Knowledge of financial or program documentation, including WBS structures.
• Experience preparing executive-level briefings or presentations.
• Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvements.

The compensation range for this position: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00
