Job description

Clinical Systems Program Manager

Athena Health Care Systems is hiring a Clinical Systems Program Manager to support the technological operations of our hospice agencies throughout Southern New England!

This is a full-time, salaried role ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 with weekly pay. Based out of our office in Feeding Hills. No remote work. Candidate must be willing to travel to our Connecticut and Rhode Island offices as needed. Mileage is reimbursed.

You are responsible for leading the implementation, adoption, administration, and ongoing optimization of clinical and operational technology support across our agencies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
  • Experience implementing, administering, supporting, or optimizing healthcare information systems.
  • Demonstrated project or program management experience involving multiple departments, locations, or stakeholder groups.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare clinical and operational workflows.
  • Experience coordinating system configuration, testing, training, deployment, and user adoption.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, issues, and workstreams simultaneously.
  • Ability to work effectively with clinicians, operational leaders, executives, finance teams, vendors, and technical personnel.
  • Experience within Home Health, Hospice, Private Duty, or other post-acute healthcare environments.

Duties:

  • Serve as the primary business-side program manager for implementation of the organization's new EMR platform across Home Health, Hospice, and Private Duty operations.
  • Develop and maintain implementation plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies, risks, and issue tracking.
  • Coordinate activities between the EMR vendor, agency leadership, clinical teams, finance, billing, compliance, education, operations, and Information Technology.
  • Facilitate implementation meetings, workgroups, design sessions, testing activities, and status reporting.
  • Identify project risks, operational dependencies, and unresolved decisions and ensure appropriate escalation and follow-up.
  • Coordinate implementation activities across multiple agencies and locations to promote consistent processes while accommodating legitimate service-line or regulatory differences.
  • Assist leadership with deployment sequencing, go-live planning, readiness assessments, and post-go-live stabilization.
  • Work with clinical and operational leaders to document current-state workflows and design effective future-state workflows within the new EMR.
  • Coordinate configuration of clinical documentation, assessments, visit requirements, scheduling, billing workflows, security roles, notifications, forms, and other application functionality.
  • Ensure application configuration supports regulatory, compliance, operational, clinical, and financial requirements.
  • Maintain documentation of significant configuration decisions and changes.
  • Evaluate enhancement requests and help distinguish configuration opportunities from process, training, integration, or vendor-development needs.
  • Coordinate testing and validation of system changes prior to deployment.

Benefits:

  • Competitive and Weekly Pay
  • Holiday Pay for Hourly and Salaried Employees
  • Overtime Pay for Hourly Employees
  • Career Advancement Opportunities
  • Exclusive Employer Discount Program

Available for Eligible Team Members:

  • Employer-Paid Life Insurance
