Description : POSITION SUMMARY

The Construction Apprentice role is an entry-level position designed for individuals eager to launch a career in construction. This role offers hands-on training in innovative construction methods, including 3D-printed residential construction and traditional building techniques. As a Construction Apprentice, you will work closely with experienced team members to learn, assist, and contribute to various construction tasks. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES) VeroTouch requires that the applicant has sufficient ability to complete the required tasks outlined in essential duties / responsibilities along with the physical means and skills outlined below.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following :

• Assist with daily site set-up and clean-up
• Support in completing construction activities and general tasks
• Help maintain a safe and organized worksite
• Load and unload materials and equipment
• Operate tools and equipment under supervision, ensuring safety protocols are followed
• Follow instructions to implement construction plans
• Document work progress, take photos, and assist with data recording
• Make edits to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as needed
• Assist other team members and help with maintenance tasks
• Complete additional training as required
• Interact professionally with customers, trade partners, and suppliers / vendors
• Commit to continuous learning and skill development on the job

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent

1-2 years experience in construction preferred but not required

Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in a team environment

EXPECTED COMPENSATION

$15 - $24 / hourly rate
