This role is integral to our organization's success and requires a professional who has a solid background in managing sub-contractors, contracts, risk management, prevailing wage compliance, file management, communication, auditing, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role and will be proficient in all aspects of labor compliance. Responsibilities: As a Permanent Labor Compliance Coordinator, your primary responsibilities will include: Ensuring all labor compliance requirements are met in accordance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations. Managing and monitoring sub-contractor agreements, contracts, and compliance. Conducting regular audits to verify compliance and identify potential risks. Overseeing prevailing wage compliance and ensuring all labor rates meet the necessary standards. Implementing and maintaining an effective file management system. Communicating effectively with various departments, contractors, and external agencies to ensure compliance standards are met. Developing and implementing risk management strategies to mitigate potential compliance issues. Providing training and guidance to team members on labor compliance matters. Keeping abreast of changes in labor laws and regulations and updating company policies accordingly. Qualifications: The ideal candidate for the Permanent Labor Compliance Coordinator position should possess the following qualifications: A minimum of 2 years of experience in labor compliance, contract management, or a related field within the construction industry. Demonstrated experience in managing sub-contractors and contracts. In-depth knowledge of prevailing wage compliance and labor laws and regulations. Proven experience in risk management and mitigation strategies. Exceptional file management skills. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Proven experience in conducting audits and identifying compliance risks. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to make sound decisions.
