JOB DESCRIPTION
- FULL TIME
The Content and Communications Coordinator role supports the marketing, communications, and enrollment growth initiatives for ORU Online through digital campaigns, content creation, and cross-functional collaboration.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Email Marketing & Campaign Execution
- Develop and execute email campaigns and nurture workflows supporting ORU Online recruitment and enrollment
- Write compelling, conversion-focused email copy
- Design and format emails within marketing automation platforms
- Segment audiences and support automated campaign flows
- Assist with A/B testing and analyze performance metrics
SMS Marketing & Communications
- Develop and deploy SMS campaigns aligned with ORU Online marketing initiatives
- Segment audiences and manage opt-in/opt-out processes
- Ensure compliance with SMS marketing regulations and industry best practices
Social Media Content Creation & Management
- Develop and manage a monthly social media content calendar
- Create graphics, captions, and short-form video content
- Schedule and publish content across key platforms
- Monitor engagement and support community management efforts
- Track and report on performance metrics
Digital Advertising & Graphic Design
- Design digital ad creatives for Meta, DSPs, and other paid channels
- Develop visual assets for email, social media, web, and print
- Ensure all creative aligns with brand standards and campaign messaging
- Support A/B testing of creative assets to optimize performance
Website & Content Management
- Update and maintain ORU Online program pages within the CMS
- Support landing page development for new program launches
- Implement messaging updates, calls-to-action, and content enhancements
- Assist with SEO formatting and on-page optimization
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Special Projects
- Collaborate with internal departments to support integrated marketing and enrollment initiatives for ORU Online
- Participate in cross-functional projects to align messaging, campaigns, and timelines
- Support special projects and additional responsibilities as assigned, based on departmental priorities and business needs
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality when handling sensitive institutional, student, and operational information
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
EXPERIENCE:
- 1–3 years of experience in digital marketing, social media, or content creation
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms
- Understanding of social media best practices and engagement strategies
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Strong copywriting skills with a focus on conversion
- Creative eye for design and visual storytelling
- Ability to translate strategy into clear, actionable campaign assets
- Understanding of digital marketing funnels and the customer journey
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret performance metrics
