Job Description
Objective :
The Inventory Controller is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels, supporting cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and ensuring products are properly received, stored, and issued. This role will also serve as a warehouse “floater,” assisting in various warehouse functions such as picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and general operational support as needed. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and adherence to safety procedures.

Inventory Control :
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cycle counts; reconcile variances and report discrepancies.
- Monitor inventory accuracy in the warehouse and ERP / WMS systems.
- Investigate root causes of inventory errors and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure proper labeling, storage, and rotation of inventory (FIFO / FEFO).
- Conduct location audits to confirm items are in the correct bins and stocked properly.
- Track inbound and outbound inventory movements to support accurate reporting.
- Assist with physical inventory counts and audit preparation.
- Implement process improvements to increase inventory accuracy and warehouse efficiency.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to sit, stand, and walk. The employee may be required to lift and / or move up to ten pounds without assistance and at times up to 50 lbs.
Working Conditions :
Work is performed primarily in a standard office environment but may involve exposure to moderate noise levels from printers and other peripherals. The employee may be exposed to bright lights from product fixtures.
Monday through Friday - 9 a.m. to 5 : 30 p.m.
