At Little Medical School, we inspire the next generation of healthcare heroes! Our hands-on programs introduce children to the exciting world of medicine, nursing, pharmacy, veterinary science, and more - using real medical tools and interactive curriculum designed to spark curiosity and confidence.
Position Overview:
We’re looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and engaging instructors to lead fun, educational, and interactive classes for children ages 4-12. As an Instructor, you’ll bring our curriculum to life by guiding students through hands-on activities, role-playing, and learning experiences that build an early interest in healthcare and science careers.
Responsibilities:
-Teach classes at schools, community centers, after-school programs, camps, or special events
-Deliver a prepared curriculum using provided teaching materials and real medical tools (stethoscopes, gloves, lab coats, etc.)
-Create a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
-Set up and clean up class materials before and after each session
-Communicate professionally with parents, school staff, and Little Medical School leadership
-Travel locally to class locations (reliable transportation required)
-Maintain student safety and class control at all times
Qualifications
-Passion for working with children and helping them learn through hands-on experiences
-Strong communication and classroom management skills
-Responsible, dependable, and organized
-Previous experience working with kids in education, healthcare, or recreation is a plus
-Background in education, science, healthcare, or a related field preferred (but not required)
