Principal Data Architect
Our client, a leader in their industry, has an excellent opportunity for a Principal Data Architect to work on a 12-month+ contract with an option to hire if the fit is right in Raleigh, NC. This position is hybrid work, with on-site 3 days and 2 days remotely.
Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Rate : $95 / hour - $115 / hour w-2
Responsibilities :
- Define and drive the long-term data architecture vision and provide strategic data leadership for the organization
- Lead the architecture and implementation of scalable ingestion and transformation patterns, establishing Snowflake FinOps practices and enterprise standards for Data Vault, dbt, and ingestion tooling.
- Spearhead research initiatives in emerging data technologies and architectural paradigms
- Shape enterprise-wide data governance policies and standards
- Provide thought leadership and industry influence
- Represent the organization at high-profile industry events and conferences
- Mentor senior data professionals and foster a culture of innovation

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available and that may result in pay outside of the range provided.
