Department Summary
At the UO, Data Science students and faculty harness the power of data to unravel mysteries, predict trends and drive impactful change. Through collaboration with industry and academic partners, the Data Science Department fosters a vibrant and dynamic learning environment, preparing students for a successful career in data science.
Position Summary
The Department of Data Science seeks to build a pool of candidates interested in filling Pro Tempore Instructor positions as needs arise. Pro Tem faculty are qualified part-time or full-time instructors offered teaching opportunities based on course demand and staffing. Appointments are limited in duration, potentially renewable for up to a total of three years.
Minimum Requirements
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Experience teaching.
