  • Monitor data center operations and performance, responding to incidents and operational issues in a timely manner to minimize service disruption and downtime.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to plan and execute maintenance activities, infrastructure upgrades, and capacity expansion initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, customer requirements, industry standards, and applicable regulatory guidelines. Maintain accurate operational documentation and provide regular reporting on operational status, asset health, and team performance.
  • Support a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement across data center operations.

Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree (U.S.) or College Diploma (Canada) in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1+ year of experience managing data center operations and/or technical teams in a 24x7 operational environment.
  • Experience with logistics operations, inventory management, and asset tracking systems.
  • Exposure to IT hardware operations with experience supporting incident management and change management processes.
  • Knowledge of data center infrastructure, including power, cooling, networking, and server hardware.
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, always-on operational environment.
  • Familiarity with data center monitoring platforms and automation tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • 23 years of experience managing data center operations and technical teams is preferred.
  • Industry certifications such as CDCP, PMP, ITIL, or comparable credentials are preferred
