What you'll do?

Under general supervision, assist in set up, assist in performing preventative maintenance, assist in troubleshooting, assist in repairing and maintaining assigned equipment with responsibility for production and quality. Assisting in maintaining a clean work environment.

• Understanding about sprockets and chains.

• Assist in all repairs on belt conveyors, roller conveyors, turn tables, and paint sprayers both airless and diaphragm pumps, Assist in Inspect/replace belts, hoses, and pipes as needed and other warehouse power equipment to ensure availability and safe operation.

• Assisting in carrying out preventive maintenance programs for all machines and equipment to ensure a safe and efficient operation.

• Must maintain a daily work log on repairs on all equipment.

• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area, overall cleanliness, and organization of the maintenance cage.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards.

• Ability to learn and understand levels of line downtime caused by equipment issues and associated points of cause.

• Assist in the inspection and upkeep of machinery and equipment

• Adhering to all safety policies, including proper LOTO procedures.

• Checking for proper guarding of all machinery in departments daily.

• Look for any visible wear or defects on machinery daily.

• Checking for proper oil level & proper lubrication of all machines.

• Assisting in Maintaining all machinery and assisting in repairing machinery in a timely manner.

Duties Include:

• Willing to work in a fast-paced/high-volume environment

• The ability to work in a dusty, dirty and non-air-conditioned environment

• attention to detail & commitment to quality

• Keep a clean and safe working environment

• Willing to work overtime as needed

• Willing to learn and assist the Maintenance technician to eventually move into the technician position.

Salary Range: $23/hour.

Shift Hours: Friday - Monday 5 am -4 pm

. Requirements:

• must be 18+ years old

• Basic understanding of tools and equipment.

• Willingness and initiative to learn and eventually grow with Terzo into a technician position.

• Frequently move, lift, and carry supplies/equipment up to 50 lbs. and may occasionally have to lift to 75 lbs.
