DriveTime Family of Brands includes in-house financing and servicing through Bridgecrest, which is one of the country’s leading financial servicing providers. Bridgecrest services roughly $17 billion in finance receivables for DriveTime and other third parties. We service auto loans across a wide credit spectrum with the intent of creating a strong path to vehicle ownership for our customers.

In short, as a Data Scientist you will design, develop and implement analytical solutions to support multiple products, business units and verticals.

In long, the Data Scientist is responsible for:

• Work with business partners to define objectives and build appropriate analytical solutions
• Partner with business customers to manage data for modeling and analytics
• Partner with Machine Learning Engineers in development and implementation of models
• Present results of analysis to leaders and colleagues
• Work with Jr Data Scientist(s) to develop and implement analytical solutions

The Requirements.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Math, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, or related discipline. Master’s degree preferred
• 2+ Years of Experience Working in a Data Scientist or Statistician Role
• Demonstrated expertise in Python
• Expertise leveraging MLOps methodology in Azure, AWS or GCP. Cloud certifications is a plus
• Experience coaching Jr Data Scientists and leading complete data science projects end-to-end
• Expertise in RDBMS and Big Data environments such as Snowflake.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and deploying statistical learning/machine learning techniques with significant business outcomes
• Expertise with git/version control and build/release pipelines.
