Job description

Trade Compliance Analyst

This position will provide analytical and specialized administrative support to all aspects of MACOM's Trade Compliance department, including recordkeeping, preparation of reports/recommendations, database management including maintaining accurate trade compliance data in Agile and SAP, order hold/release, denied party screening analysis, and other tasks related to MACOM's Trade Compliance functionality in SAP, Agile, CRM, export licensing, manual shipper review and approval, and the variety of trade compliance issues as they arise.

To be successful, candidate must enjoy working in a fast paced environment, enjoy learning, have the ability to issue spot and problem solve efficiently, and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, product management, legal, sales, customer service, planning, manufacturing, logistics and shipping departments.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • BA/BS in business, international trade or a related field required; advanced degree preferred
  • Familiarity with the ITAR and EAR and knowledge of export compliance and export licensing is preferred, however, if a candidate has limited or no experience, a willingness to learn is an absolute must.
  • Experience with SAP Sales, Distribution, Logistics and GTS modules preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written
  • Travel 10% required
