SUMMARY: The selected candidate will be responsible for comprehensive multimedia development. The core function of this role is creating high-quality visual content that supports the Department’s communication, training, and organizational development efforts. This position merges creative design, video production, and project coordination to deliver engaging multimedia assets for both internal and external audiences.
PRIARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:- Video Production & Editing: Execute the full video production workflow (organizing footage, trimming clips, adding transitions, enhancing audio, correcting colour, and incorporating motion graphics) utilizing Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects. Produce short promos, instructional videos for CBTs, interviews, testimonials, and explainer videos.
- Graphic Design: Design compelling visual materials including banners, logos, flyers, posters, infographics, web graphics, and event signage using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. Ensure designs align with Agency brand standards and prepare files for both print and digital use with proper formatting and resolution.
- Storyboarding & Workflow Management: Plan visual sequences, map out scenes, narrations, and on-screen text. Meet with customers to translate concepts into visual plans, track project deadlines, manage personal workload, and provide progress updates.
- Special Projects: Support the Agency and Organizational Development Office with ongoing initiatives. Document events, create campaign assets, produce training materials, and participate in brainstorming sessions.
Requirements
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: - Experience: 1 to 2 years of experience and/or working knowledge of multiple software programs, graphics, web design, instructional design, and multimedia production.
- Education: Preference is given to candidates with a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Corporate Multimedia Production, Digital Design and Animation, Fine Arts, or related subjects.
- Substitution: A candidate’s professional work experience can substitute for the preferred education level on a year-for-year basis.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:- High proficiency in multimedia development tools, with a strong emphasis on the Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition) and 3D Modeling software. Proficiency in the Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
- Knowledge of trends in creative design, digital media, websites, and 508 Electronic and Information Technology Standards. Knowledge of Quality Assurance ideologies and tools.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
