Position Overview:
Single point of contact for all Supply Chain functions at particular site/region and coordinates with affiliate leaders routinely to solve the organizations logistically challenges. Manages the full range of operations to include distribution, talent management, open orders, work assignments of supply chain personnel, and responsible for established budgets. Motivates staff to conduct proper receiving and unpacking of supplies, rotating of stock and checking for outdates materials and supplies as needed. Routinely assess workload and reassigns supply chain responsibilities, as needed. Establishes and fosters culture of confidence and cooperation across affiliate supervisors, managers, and directors through steady leadership, and exceptional communication. Demonstrates, leads by example and adheres to all local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies and procedures to ensure privacy and safety while delivering optimal patient care. Prioritizes, schedules and delegates highly-specialized projects and/or articulates departmental responsibilities to visiting or new employees. Interacts with and monitors vendor performance on special orders and consignment when working with clinical leaders. Researches and institutes best practices by implementing standard workflows/processes, while developing plans of action to implement changes. May act as a backup to the Supply Chain Director for operational planning.Job Description :
EDUCATION:
Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
Bachelor's: Business Administration, Healthcare or related field
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
8 years recent relevant experience
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, and Outlook.
Demonstrated knowledge of inventory control, purchasing/buying, and materials management or inventory control field.
Verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated leadership skills, including team building, and coaching/mentoring with the ability to motivate and engage others.
Demonstrates tactical and analytical thinking and planning skills, and is able to develop plan to accomplish objectives, identify obstacles and resolve operational issues.
Organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects while delivering quality service and achieving business results.
Thorough understanding of operations and workflows and how department’s process/workflow impacts other department operations.
