This is an office-based role where you will work closely with multiple departments, including assembly, production, engineering and clients, to help design, improve and develop mechanical products and prototypes. You will be involved in creating detailed drawings and 3D models, supporting CNC manufacturing processes, interpreting technical specifications, adjusting prototypes and supporting projects from concept through to manufacture.
This role will suit an experienced CNC Programmer or Manufacturing professional with a hands-on engineering background, knowledge of CNC manufacturing processes, and a passion for progressing into a Manufacturing Engineering position. Experience with SolidWorks, CAD, prototypes or mechanical assemblies is highly desirable but not essential.
The Role
Supporting the design and development of mechanical parts, assemblies and prototypes
* Working closely with engineering, production and assembly teams
* Supporting CNC manufacturing and prototype processes
* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical documentation
The Person
Experience reviewing G-code, CNC toolpaths or CAM outputs
* Hands-on engineering knowledge
* Looking to progress into Manufacturing Engineering
* Experience with CNC machinery, drawings or mechanical components
