Being a Principal Software Engineer at iManage Means…

Working across teams, you will lead and participate in the design and delivery of data architecture for a high-traffic multi-region SaaS solution that handles over a billion daily operations.  Horizontal and vertical scale for billions of records, application and operational security, and the ability to monitor and alert are key constraints.  You will develop and document designs, including scale validation and testing approaches, delivering features with an advanced CI / CD model.  You will be curious and passionate about tracking trends and industry developments and bring technical thought leadership to help drive innovation.  You will engage with internal product portfolio teams, customers, partners, and product management teams to understand market requirements and present solution options.

You will be a core contributor within the engineering team, driving innovation and optimization around high-scale database touchpoints across various application layers. You will build strong relationships within and outside the engineering team, creating trust and continuous alignment.  You will have experience working at a global SaaS company, with an eye for operational excellence and customer service.

The overall US annual base salary range for this position is $140,000–$216,000. Individual compensation for each candidate depends on factors such as qualifications, experience, and candidate location. This range does not include additional forms of compensation, such as bonuses, commission, or benefits.
