Mandatory Skill set – Oracle DBA

Must Have Skills (Top technical skills only)

  • Strong Oracle DBA experience (c, c) including installation, configuration, and administration.
  • Hands-on experience with cross-platform migration techniques (RMAN CONVERT, Transportable Tablespaces, Data Pump).
  • Expertise in Oracle GoldenGate configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
  • Solid understanding of Oracle RAC, ASM, and Data Guard.

Max rate

Nice to have skills (Top only)

  • Proficiency in Linux / Unix scripting for automation.
  • Knowledge of performance tuning and query optimization.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

  • years of experience as an Oracle Database Administrator with strong expertise in cross-platform database

    • migration and Oracle GoldenGate replication. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and

    validating migrations of large-scale Oracle databases across heterogeneous platforms (AIX, RHEL) while ensuring

    minimal downtime and data integrity.

    • Work onsite with client stakeholders to design and implement cross-platform Oracle database migration

    strategies using RMAN, Data Pump, and Transportable Tablespaces.

  • Configure and manage Oracle GoldenGate for real-time replication and zero-downtime migration.
  • Perform pre-migration assessments, compatibility checks, and develop migration runbooks.
  • Optimize database performance post-migration and troubleshoot any issues.
  • Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and data consistency during migration.
  • Collaborate with application teams to validate functionality after migration.
  • Document processes, best practices, and provide knowledge transfer to stakeholders.
