The HR Business System Analyst leads the design, development, implementation, and support of complex business intelligence analytical solutions for UCI Human Resources. Responsibilities:
- Develop complex analytics, forecasts, data modeling, and reporting to meet desired business outcomes.
- Consult with end users to gather and clarify data and reporting needs for complex business intelligence solutions and analytics.
- Write queries and develop report templates and dashboards.
- Collaborate with technical teams to identify opportunities to leverage technology for information delivery and business capability expansion.
- Perform predictive analysis and forecasting to provide information that supports organizational goals.
- Mine data to quantify relationships and identify issues warranting further analysis.
- Use data mining, model building, and other analytical techniques to develop and maintain business unit information and predictive models.
- Monitor data sources, identify issues, and coordinate solutions to data collection/management challenges.
- Validate reporting results against requirements.
- Develop and maintain robust data security models.
- Create sustainable and appealing visual data representations.
- Design intuitive dashboards that enable role-based drill-down/employee self-service capabilities.

- Minimum 3 years experience developing dashboards and data sources with BI software such as Tableau, Power BI, SSRS, etc.
- Minimum 3 years experience as a BI Administrator with direct experience implementing, managing, and monitoring published workbooks and data sources, software upgrades, extract refreshes, product keys and licenses, and user access requests.
- Proficient in all MS Office applications, BI/database applications, and reporting tools.
- Demonstrated ability in transforming raw, operational data into actionable, insightful findings, metrics, KPIs, and dashboards.
- Minimum 3 years experience developing dashboards and data sources with BI software such as Tableau, Power BI, SSRS, etc.
- Minimum 3 years experience as a BI Administrator with direct experience implementing, managing, and monitoring published workbooks and data sources, software upgrades, extract refreshes, product keys and licenses, and user access requests.
