Position Summary
The Project Coordinator supports the planning and execution of key projects across our operations. This role plays a critical part in keeping projects on track - ensuring timelines are met, budgets are respected, and information flows seamlessly between teams. This position will support our ongoing projects within our Underground / Civil division focused on large site utility and subterranean piping projects. Location: Cypress, CA with anticipated travel to designated project sites in and around the greater Los Angeles metropolitan area.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the coordination of project activities to ensure progress aligns with established schedules and budget expectations.
- Prepare reports, studies, and data analyses, often requiring independent research and interpretation.
- Maintain project documentation, including submittals, logs, and correspondence.
- Assist in tracking materials or equipment based on project needs.
- Provide general administrative and project support as directed by leadership.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent requited.
- Bachelor's degree in a related area of study and/or previous field and craft experience preferred.
- 1+ year of experience or high interest in working on underground site utilities (wet side), earthwork, excavation, shoring construction projects a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Outlook, etc.) and computer literacy.
- Exposure to various construction-based software such as Bluebeam, Procore, ACC Build, preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Must have sufficient to read printed and digital documents.
- Must be able to climb ladders, access and egress trenches and/or attic spaces and/or confined spaces.
- Requires hearing ability to communicate in noisy environments.
- Must be able to recognize alarms, signals, and verbal instructions.
- Must be able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed.
- Ability to grasp, handle, and manipulate small objects.
Compensation
$28.00 - $32.00 per hour
