Summary :

The Engineer will report to the Manager of Engineering as a part of the Technical Operations team and will provide engineering support to the Division Liquid Pipeline Operations. Primary focus includes working closely with Operations to provide day-to-day engineering and technical support, coordination with other company departments, and full project lifecycle execution.

Essential Functions :

• Provides day-to-day engineering and technical support to liquid pipeline operations.
• Performs hydraulic calculations and simulations. Helps with MOP determination and Surge Studies. Helps with Power and DRA budgeting and management. Updates P&ID's.
• Provide operating, alarming, and shutdown set points for liquid pipeline operations.
• Participate in MOC process for engineering review and sign-off.
• Executes full project lifecycle for operations Maintenance Capital and Expense Projects.
• Reviews potential exposures and relocations.
• Supports investigations by providing technical expertise for : Abnormal Operating Conditions (AOC's), Mechanical / Electrical / Control (MEC) failures, Environmental / Health / Safety (EHS) incidents.
• Support liquid pipeline operations during DOT Inspections.
• Coordinates with Ops / Optimization Engineering Team
• Coordinates with Systems Planning Team.
• Coordinates with Scheduling and Commercial Teams.

Preferred Qualifications :

Required experience is commensurate with the selected job level :

The Staff Engineer level requires Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline and 10+ years of relevant job related experience

The Principal Engineer level requires Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline and 12+ years of relevant job related experience with a strong preference for a PE license
