Job description

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Maintenance Engineer, you will be instrumental in ensuring the optimal functioning of our facilities and equipment, allowing our operations to run smoothly and efficiently.

Every day you will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical systems, while also performing preventative maintenance on critical machinery. You will be expected to maintain detailed records of all work performed, adhere to safety protocols, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

To be successful in this role, you must possess strong analytical problem-solving skills, in-depth knowledge of engineering principles, and hands-on experience with industrial equipment.

  • Timeliness when paged


    If assigned to pager will respond within 3 min.
  • "Stat" work orders


    Stat orders are acted upon immediately.
  • Timeliness with standard work orders


    Standard work order(s) are completed within 24hrs.
  • Timeliness with Preventive Maintenance


    Preventive Maintenance completed completely and within required time.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of Maintenance Safety


    Always performs duties in a safe manner ., uses appropriate safety equipment such as back belt, goggles, gloves, face shields, respirators and protective clothing.
  • Communicate status of work being performed


    During completion of a work order(s), the maintenance person will communicate with the supervisor regarding the status of the project.

Job Requirements

Required

  • Minimum of one-year maintenance experience in building maintenance. To include heating, air conditioning, electrical and plumbing; should have the ability to read plans.
  • Driver's License: CA, upon hire
