RAPP Chicago is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our award-winning Technology team.

YOUR ROLE :

As a Sr. DevOps Engineer, you serve as a key player in Technology solutions for our clients and within the agency. You work with the Infrastructure Automation and Tools team (IAT) in implementing tools and infrastructure that facilitates efficient software development / process and operations. From setting up a continuous integration / delivery environment to speeding up software deployment and release process, to maintenance of the cloud infrastructure.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Accountable for communicating the DevOps best practices with other development teams and helping them in the implementation thereof.
• Dedicate at least 50% of time automating systems and processes.
• Work with IAT Engineers in the implementation of infrastructure, security and tools that are needed for delivery of software applications and services.
• Work with IAT Lead in analyzing, executing, and streamlining DevOps practices.
• Introduce new tech stacks for experimentation while maintaining a controlled delivery process.
• Research and investigate technology solutions, demonstrate their efficiency by putting together proofs of concept and sharing these with the team.
• Thoroughly research and troubleshoot technical issues. Derive pragmatic, effective solutions, resolve issues, and document the resolutions.
• Implement infrastructure and security solutions on the cloud, and help service them long-term

This range is specific to Chicago and multiple factors are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to : skill set, experience and training, certifications; etc. This is an exempt position.
