$40-60/HR

Hybrid On-Site Fort Worth, TX

The IT Software Developer – Cloud Platforms designs, builds, and supports cloud and container‑based platforms across hybrid environments, including on‑premises cloud and Microsoft Azure. This role partners with IT teams and end users to deliver secure, scalable, and highly available solutions supporting enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and operate Kubernetes clusters and Docker‑based container platforms.
• Develop automation and scripts using PowerShell and/or Python integrated with CI/CD pipelines.
• Support application onboarding into a Container‑as‑a‑Service (CaaS) environment.
• Ensure high availability, failover, capacity planning, and platform reliability.
• Support platform upgrades, security standards, and operational stability.
• Provide production support and collaborate with managed service providers.
• Work in an agile environment (Scrum/Kanban) and communicate status, risks, and progress.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Hands‑on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud platforms.
• Experience with automation, CI/CD, and DevOps tools (GitHub/GitLab).
• Scripting experience with PowerShell and/or Python.
• Familiarity with logging, monitoring, and operational support.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree Computer/Information Science, Engineering
• Experience with Java/Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs, and IAM technologies.
• Knowledge of cloud deployment models (IaaS, PaaS, CaaS) and observability tools.
