Process Automation Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Analysis & Design: Identify automation opportunities, analyze existing processes, and design automated workflows or control systems.
Development: Program, configure, and simulate automated machinery, software, or scripts for specific tasks.
Implementation: Install, integrate, and deploy new automation solutions, ensuring seamless transitions.
Testing & QA: Develop and execute tests (automated and manual) to ensure reliability, accuracy, and quality of automated systems, identifying and fixing bugs.
Maintenance & Support: Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, perform repairs, and provide technical support for automated systems.
Collaboration: Work with business units, IT, and management to understand needs, align with goals, and train staff.
Documentation: Create detailed technical guides, user manuals, and design specifications.

Core Technical Skills (Hard Skills)

Programming Languages: Python (scripting, testing), Java, C++, JavaScript.
Automation Tools: RPA platforms (UiPath, Blue Prism), CI/CD tools, Configuration Management (Puppet, Chef).
