Job Description

  • Oversee general accounting operations, includingGL, AP / AR, payroll, and fixed assets.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements aligned with GAAP and internal reporting standards.
  • Manage intercompany reconciliations, consolidation submissions, and month‑end close processes.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and KPI reporting to support operational decisions.
  • Develop and maintain strong internal controls, financial policies, and audit‑ready documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state tax and reporting requirements.
  • Manage cash flow forecasting, banking relationships, and capital asset tracking.
  • Lead and develop the accounting team; act as liaison to international headquarters.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Controller should have :

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA / CMA strongly preferred.
  • 7-10 years of progressive finance experience, including at least 3 years in a Controller or managerial role.
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting best practices.
  • Experience working within multinational organizations and coordinating with global teams.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP / Oracle or similar) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
